Online Article: "Single, Saved, and Sexin’: The Gospel of Gettin’ Your Freak On"

I read this article (link below) earlier today and sadly, it seems as if a lot of people agree with the author's perspective.  However, I still agree with the Word of God on this subject and will be discussing it tonight at 10:00 p.m.  Please join me, if you can.
Talk Show Tonight at 10:00 p.m. (C.S.T.) - Young Ladies and Their Attitudes/Opinions About Sex
In this show, we want to explore the attitudes and opinions that young ladies of the 21st century have about sex. In the age of HIV/AIDS, the number of people engaging in unprotected sex is surprising. The number of out-of-wedlock pregnancies indicates that this behavior continues at an alarming rate. In order for those of us who are older to try to help solve this problem, we need to get to the heart of the reasons behind the behavior and the only way to do that is through open and honest discussions with those we want to help.
Please join me tonight at 10:00 p.m. to share your questions, comments or thoughts on this subject. Instead of cursing the darkness of life-threatening behavior, low self-esteem, and low self-respect (to name a few), maybe together we can discover solutions that will show His light to those facing this situation.
Here is a link to the article, but I've got a question for the author and those who agree with her:  if you feel you can justify committing sexual sin using the logic given in your article, how do you feel about others using that same logic to justify a wide range of other behavior that the Word of God classifies as sin?

  1. Hi all,

My oopnion is that we all need to change our attitude and accept that HIV/AIDS is here amongst us and we need to engage instead of condemning.

We need to teach our children how is transmitted and what they can do to avoid being victims.

I am fed up of the religion high jacking this and saying that this is God punishment. all i can say is that even when acceptable conditions first cripped up like malaria etc - they were first considered a curse as they were not well understood.

my moral is we need to educate our society. love those affected and care for them and make them realise they can live a normal life and they need to take care of themselves.

for those who are still sceptical about my idea think of this - a child is born with the virus - which sin did they committ to God? does it mean God cursed this child even before he brought them to the world? think again.
